First let me start by saying everyone skin is different. What works for me may not work for you and that’s okay! It doesn’t mean stop there, keep going until you get it right. (Read until the end 🥳I provided a video below😁)

It’s important to know your skin. It took me a while to figure out a skin care routine and even still until this day I have to test products because I feel as I get older my skin changes and grows out of the old routine. So I’m consistently looking for new products. I definitely go for the healthy glow looking skin on my natural or light makeup days and then the matte, clear looking skin when I wear makeup because makeup makes my skin very oily.

I would say I have combination skin, dry skin, oil skin and sometimes acne prone skin. I’m consistently looking for a good cleanser, moisturizer and toner. Not all natural or vegan products works for me some products that contain the “harsh” ingredients like parabens, sulfate, phenoxyethanol, alcohols and so forth sometimes seems to actually help improve skin. Crazy right?! Anyway it’s all about what works for you and what doesn’t.

Alright so let’s get into it. I read somewhere that you don’t need to wash your face everyday because it can irritate the skin and you will have lack of moisture however I do wash my face everyday and I haven’t had any issues with that part. However if I get busy I usually will wash my face every other day but I can’t go 2-3 days without washing my face or it’ll start to become dry, irritated and itchy. I do not wear make up every day but when I do wear makeup it’s important to wash your face before you go to bed. That a step you shouldn’t miss and I say that because I have went to sleep with makeup on my face and wake up with a pimple the next day. Not good!

Right now, I have been consistent with a cleansing soap for a while now it’s by Neutrogena they have the wash but I actually use the bar face soap for some reason that bar soap works really well with removing dirt and other irritations from my skin vs the face wash in the bottle.

CLEANSER– I usually wash my face in lukewarm to cold water. Then let it the soap sit on my face between 2-5 mins depending on how irritated it is. If it’s really irritated 2mins at the most because when it’s time to wash it off my skin is usually raw and that’s an uncomfortable feeling.

After washing I usually pat dry with a small face towel or thick soft paper towel I do not wipe the towel across my face but pat dry I think wiping the towel irritates the skin more.

Toner– Then I apply a toner like Witch Hazel or Rose Water however Witch Hazel works the best for me. This really helps with inflammation, itchy, red or blemished skin.

SERUM-Then I apply a Vitamin C and Vitamin E serum for brightening, tightening and antioxidant boost. I love them both so I usually order pure ingredients and mix them together and apply on my face and body. If you have other issues you are trying to target like dark spots, even tone, or anti aging you can definitely use other oils or serums. For dark spots I usually use tumeric oil or mix organic ground turmeric and witch hazel together and apply as a mask but only applying it to the dark spot areas and letting it sit for 5 mins and rinse off.

MOISTURIZER- Last, but not least you definitely want to apply a good moisturizer usually have a day moisturizer and a night moisturizer. I use neutrogena oil free moisturizer or ponds for very dry skin moisturizer.

Please do not attempt to drive and record. I did but it’s not safe! I was in my neighborhood not on a busy street ☺️
The sun was shining and My skin was Glowing!
