Grab a cup of coffee or some tea! Take a deep breath and just relax for a few minutes.
I have a few tips to help you reduce stress.
I’m a mother of two boys, I work full time, go to school full time (online) and I picked up a second job on the weekends. It’s very challenging and can be very stressful sometimes. My life is a complete mess! Lol
But… for many positive reasons I’m still going.
First you need to let all the negativity go and focus on the positive things in your life. Every time something negative comes up in your mind try your hardest to turn it into something positive.
Ex. When you wake up in the morning start your day with positive thinking and be grateful that you woke up.
Go for a walk
If you have time Go for a walk or do a 5-10 min exercise and as your doing this exercise think about releasing that anxiety.
Extra tip! When I take hot showers before I get in I say a little prayer and as I’m showering I imagine myself washing all the negativity away. Crazy right? Lol but it helps.
Plan your week
Write down everything you need to get done for that week from the most important to the least important and check each one off as you accomplish that task.
Talk about it
Talk to a friend you can trust and that always provided real and positive feedback or can just be there as a listening ear. Sometimes when I have some alone time or I’m riding in the car by myself I talk out loud to myself and things seem to be much clearer to me.
Get your headphones
Listen to motivational speeches or uplifting music. I usually listen to “ERIC THOMAS” he’s a powerful speaker or turn on some much that gets me pumped and no in my feelings and tune everything out for the moment.
Take sometime off
This may not be an option for everyone but if I’m just stressed to the max, sometimes I take a day off during the week while my kids are at school and daycare even if I decide to miss out on pay for that day. It’s well worth it.
Take long deep breaths throughout the day.
Take one day at a time!
Let go of the things you cannot control.
